MBA School Ranking in 2011
There are two popular MBA rankings for full time Business Schools in the U.S. These are the US News rankings and the Business Week rankings. These rankings use a sophisticated rating model and are subjective and differ in their list of schools a little. But generally a ranking is indicative of the quality of the MBA programs the business school has to offer. Thus MBA from a top ranked school is generally regarded as a good investment. Students must remember thought there are hundreds of Business Schools that are not ranked but offer good quality programs.
In the US News & World Report’s 2011 MBA Rankings, Harvard Business School and the Stanford Graduate School of Business have tied for the first position nationally, followed by MIT Sloan in the third place.
